Happy Dormitory is a dormitory built with low-interest public funds in accordance with the government's policy to reduce the burden of university housing costs.
As a residence hall established by Hanyang University Public Dormitory Co., Ltd., which was jointly invested by the Korea Foundation for the Promotion of Private Schools and Hanyang University School Foundation, by attracting public funds, we aim to realize happy education by reducing household burden with affordable dormitory fees, improving study environment with comfortable living conditions, and providing opportunities for character education that requires autonomy and moderation in communal living.
In the students' living spaces, individual furniture and fixtures, bathrooms, heating and cooling systems, and internet are installed to enhance student convenience, and auxiliary facilities such as fitness rooms, seminar rooms, student lounges, and reading rooms are fully equipped for users to live comfortably.
◆ Information about Happy Dormitory
Happy Dormitory is a residence hall built by adopting the private investment method (Build-Transfer-Operate). The project cost required for construction is procured by Hanyang University Public Dormitory Co., Ltd., the project operator, and maintenance is managed through consignment operation.

A company jointly established by the Korea Foundation for the Promotion of Private Schools and Hanyang School Foundation (Hanyang University), which strives to reduce student burden through cost reduction.

- October 2014. Implementation agreement signed
- July 15, 2015. Construction commenced
- January 6, 2017. Completion
- February 24, 2017. Opening ceremony
